Hi everyone and welcome to my profile!
Over the last decade, I have mentored people of all backgrounds, from all over the world, from start-up founders to MBA students to career switchers. My passion is people; that's why I host the behavioural science podcast 'A Load of BS on Sport', because I'm interested in human psychology, performance, decision making and motivation. And frankly why we are all prone to irrational and at time illogical decisions! I love disentangling this.
For the last 13 years, my work has been purely focused on entrepreneurship. I co-founded equity crowdfunding platform CrowdBnk in the UK in 2013, from there changed sides of the table to lead the corporate innovation and venture capital practice for a South African family office, focusing my time on InsurTech (e.g. Comparethemarket.com) and Restaurant Operations Tech (e.g. Nando’s).
Since then, I’ve taken senior operating roles in two other InsurTechs - WorldCovr and Instanda - and I’ve built ventures in Saudi Arabia across healthcare, BioTech and MarTech in a venture studio. Prior to that, I also spent time in the traditional corporate world in banking and advertising. Building new things and working for yourself is more fun!

- Co-founder of Venture Punks, an entrepreneurship course for 1st time founders
- Co-founder & CEO of The Sports Business Syndicate, the largest global community for senior sports business leaders and athletes
- Founder of the behavioural science podcast A Load of BS on Sport alongside rugby union star Dan Biggar
I have an MBA from London Business School, have 3 daughters and live in London.
