I have been a software engineer working with Ruby/Rails since 2009. I've worked on every Rails version and been a part of large organizations using Ruby/Rails at scale.
I've spoken at multiple conferences on topics around debugging, technical debt, Rubocop, and race conditions.
I've built out a few open source gems, such as https://github.com/clio/jit_preloader which can globally fix N+1 queries in an app in just a couple lines of code.
I am really interested in help people succeed and seeing them grow.

Kyle is a seasoned mentor and you can identify his experience within the first few weeks. In my context, I am in the beginning of a never ending learning curve towards software engineering related to rails. Having Kyle as a mentor gives me more courage to pick up gradually harder task's because I know that if ChatGPT doesn't help me, he will know how to find light at the other side of the tunnel.
