About

Lee recently retired from Google as a Software Engineering Manager after 6.5 years. He worked on three different teams - Google Maps, Firebase and Privacy Infrastructure. He was part of the Google Champions program which provided mock interviews to folks that were in the Google recruiting pipeline. He managed 35+ folks during his tenure and helped 7 reports get promoted. And while new to Mentor Cruise, he is not new to mentoring and coaching.

He steered the team’s transition into the AI era, ensuring adoption of new technologies while crowd sourcing best practices to keep up with the incredible rate of change in this space. He previously led the mobile app teams at Sephora and also has a long proven track record in consulting supporting such clients as Crate & Barrel, UPS, American Express, California Lottery, La Poste and many others. He recently left New York City to start his retirement nomading around the world. He has a BA in Computer Science from UT Austin and an MBA from Florida Atlantic University.

With over 20 years of experience in technical leadership and management, he specializes in supporting engineers across various stages of their careers. Lee offers a safe and supportive space.
