I've been into hiring process in my past 2 companies and conducted over 150 professional assessment interviews so far. Now I own the Recruiting module of the HRM system and it's thrilling to know how it works from within.

1) Discovery techniques: explore the issue or metrics, find the root cause and define what could be done. I use different problem-solving techniques, analytics and user research to diagnose the issues and suggest the most impactful changes.
