Mary was a wonderful mentor. She listened to me and crafted a plan for our meetings that was tailored to what I was trying to accomplish. She was insightful and encouraging. Even after we stopped meeting she would reach out to check-in and see how things were going. She did not try to force her own agenda, but listened to what I wanted to accomplish and added her own helpful tips and suggestions. She was also appropriately candid with her feedback which I found very helpful.
