About this Session

In this session, a mentor with design and hiring experience will go over your portfolio and give you actionable points on how to improve it. You will be able to follow along and make these changes right away, hopefully leaving you with a top-notch portfolio at the end of the sessions.

I have experience hiring product designers for full-time, and contract work as well as mentoring designers and helping them create portfolios to get their first job or next job. I look forward to meeting with you!

Mary was a wonderful mentor. She listened to me and crafted a plan for our meetings that was tailored to what I was trying to accomplish. She was insightful and encouraging. Even after we stopped meeting she would reach out to check-in and see how things were going. She did not try to force her own agenda, but listened to what I wanted to accomplish and added her own helpful tips and suggestions. She was also appropriately candid with her feedback which I found very helpful.
