Interview Preparation with Mary

I sought mentorship with Mary to gain guidance on my freelance projects, as I was the sole designer. Mary has helped me immensely in defining the scope of my projects, applying for jobs, updating my portfolio, writing proposals and so much more. I highly recommend Mary to anyone seeking mentorship in the product design space.

Mary was a wonderful mentor. She listened to me and crafted a plan for our meetings that was tailored to what I was trying to accomplish. She was insightful and encouraging. Even after we stopped meeting she would reach out to check-in and see how things were going. She did not try to force her own agenda, but listened to what I wanted to accomplish and added her own helpful tips and suggestions. She was also appropriately candid with her feedback which I found very helpful.

Mary is a great mentor! I enjoyed working with her and in our time together I have gained so much more clarity on our product vision and roadmap! She was also able to make connections to a great designer to revamp our platform.
