About

I look forward to sharing the skills I've learned over the years with new developers to help them accelerate their career. Teaching is one of the most fulfilling things I have done and I love seeing my former students years later and the positive impact I was able to have on their lives.

What mentees say

I've been on the fence for so long on learning how to code from ground zero and Nabil was my first choice because he genuinely enjoys teaching noobs like me. It's been 7 months and Nabil has been so patient and encouraging every session. He's thoughtfully created lesson plans and gave me projects which I found super fun. I also really appreciate how Nabil adjusted to match my pace when the learning curve got steep for me. Thanks Nabil for making code approachable and fun! It's also been really insightful learning more about the industry through his experience. Thank you for helping someone like me, with no coding experience, understand the basic concepts and theories which I think are important to tackle when learning something completely new. So if you're thinking about it, just try it because Nabil is legit! :)

It’s unfortunate that Gunel felt the mentorship did not meet her expectations. From the beginning, I aimed to ensure she was fully comfortable moving forward — we met during the trial period, and I even extended it to give her more time to confirm her readiness. Afterward, I developed a detailed lesson plan based on our in-person discussions and chats, which we reviewed together during a follow-up call. Up to that point, our communication was positive and collaborative. Shortly after reviewing the plan, Gunel requested to pause the mentorship to focus on some independent learning before possibly resuming in the future. I explained that she was welcome to either pause and return when ready or conclude the mentorship at the end of the month. She then requested a partial refund. I clarified that the first month’s value had already been delivered — including defining her learning path and completing both of the 45-minute sessions outlined in her plan — and therefore, a refund was not possible. While I would have appreciated the chance to work toward a resolution that felt satisfactory for both of us, I respect her decision to end the mentorship. I remain committed to ensuring that every mentee receives thoughtful guidance and support in pursuing their goals.
