👋 Hi there, I’m Rina, a Product Designer with 7+ years of experience at companies like Snap, Meta, and Amazon working at the intersection of digital design and consumer hardware. Before transitioning to a career in tech, I studied and practiced Architecture.
For the past few years, I've mentored 60+ people through career transitions, interviewing skills, and helped mentees receive offers at Google, Meta, Wealthsimple, and more.
Whether you are a student, career switcher, or have a few years under your built, we can work together to come up with a plan specific to your goals. My mentorship style involves active listening, encouragement, and pragmatic, tactical feedback rooted in the current state of the ever-changing tech industry.
As a career switcher, I know how stressful it feels to "start over". While it feels like you're starting over from scratch, together we'll figure out the ways you can leverage and market your unique skillset and apply it to product design.

I sought out for a mentor to help prepare for my interview process as I did not know what it meant to be "well prepared" as I never done interviews for a product designer role despite being one for four years.
