Seger Steele

Going into my first Information Security Engineer role, I was seeking a mentor who had experience in the security industry. I was looking for someone who could not only guide me through the job itself but also build my soft skills in the workplace. Seger has helped me tremendously with navigating challenges at work and also providing leadership and guidance throughout the sessions. Seger has helped me recraft my resume, create a LinkedIn review, and also create a game plan. What I liked throughout the experience was that Seger listens to all of my concerns and thoughts and provides insightful feedback. Seger has contributed to my professional development by helping me establish work habits so I can perform my job successfully. Seger has had plenty of experience in the industry and has given me insight into his experiences and how he combated his challenges. Not only have I grown in my profession, but I have grown personally as well. I highly recommend Seger as a mentor. He is great!

Seger, as a Mentor has very helpful explaining to me more about Cybersecurity the different paths one can take. Dispelling doubts or misconceptions I've held about breaking into Cybersecurity and going into the different resources one can use to learn and upskill with to break into Cybersecurity. Seger has provided me quality links and certs that could be use to further my knowledge in the field of cybersecurity I am trying to pursue. While also building a roadmap doc I could use to map out how to build the qualifications needed to break into the field of Cybersecurity I've been meaning to break into. Overall it's been awesome to work with Seger if you're wanting to break into the field of Cybersecurity, or gain more knowledge Seger is your guy. His experience and expertise shows in our discussions/meetings and I look forward to working with him as I reach my goals.
