Hands-on support
I build AI agent infrastructure at Ona (formerly Gitpod) and maintain OpenFGA, the open-source authorization engine under the CNCF.
I wrote "AI fatigue is real and nobody talks about it," which hit #1 on Hacker News, was covered by Business Insider and Futurism, and was cited on Hard Fork, the New York Times tech podcast. My piece on agent backpressure was featured in Pointer.
I wrote The Agentic Engineering Guide - a free, open-source book on context engineering, agent security, authorization, observability, and team practices. 33 chapters. 240+ pages. Read at agents.siddhantkhare.com.
My open-source work includes OpenFGA (Zanzibar-style authorization, used by Okta and Twitch), Distill (context deduplication for LLMs), agentic-authz (authorization for AI agent tool access), and LLMTraceFX (GPU-level inference profiling).
I started at a Tier 3 college in India, interned at GitHub, and have worked remotely for global companies since. I know what it takes to break in from a non-traditional background.
I can help with:
- Building and shipping AI agent infrastructure
- Open-source contributions (first PR to maintainer)
- Landing remote engineering jobs from India or anywhere
- Writing technical content that gets noticed (blogs, HN, Twitter)
- Career strategy for devtools, AI, and infrastructure engineers

Contributing to open source initially felt overwhelming, as I wasn’t sure how to approach it. I reached out to Siddhant, who has extensive experience with open source contributions, for guidance. He recommended specific types of repositories to explore and provided concrete steps to get started. Beyond that, he also shared valuable advice on navigating today’s challenging job market, which has been incredibly helpful. With his guidance, I feel confident that I’ll be able to make meaningful contributions to open source projects.
