A few months ago I was scrambling for some guidance as I had just been moved to a developer role I was not fully prepared for. I knew I had some fundamental knowledge gaps I needed filled but didn't know where to start. Sujeeth did a great job at identifying them for me. He broke them down, gave me additional resources, some specs for a practice project to help me "glue" all these new concepts together and then checked in via message or video call for any follow-up questions. Additionally we talked about mature vs immature engineering branches/teams, common onboarding practices and other company culture-related topics. Really invaluable stuff! It helped me manage my expectations and attitude toward the whole experience. I look forward to working with him again later this year once I'm ready to strategize my next move, whether that's within my current company or outside of it.

Sujeeth has been my mentor for less than a month and has provided much needed clarity for me as I start my first official developer role in a large engineering team at a Fortune 200 company. I was caught by surprise by this opportunity and despite being particularly nervous and scatterbrained his ability to identify skill and knowledge gaps, simplify high-level concepts and further bridge those gaps with recommended reading, practice resources, and action items has been priceless. His depth and breadth of knowledge is impressive.
