I believe that with persistence, humility, and resourcefulness, anyone can become a successful software engineer and build a fulfilling career.
I started my journey with three internships, including two at Microsoft, while completing my Computer Science degree at the University of Utah. I joined Microsoft full-time and quickly advanced to Software Engineer 2 within a year and Senior Software Engineer within two. As a tech lead, I’ve guided several projects and contributed to numerous successful open-source initiatives. My work at Microsoft included delivering impactful projects for the company and its partners, which even took me to cities like London, Paris, Barcelona, Buenos Aires, Stockholm, and across the US.
In late 2021, I transitioned to Stripe as a Senior Backend Engineer, joining the LATAM team to develop local payment solutions for Latin American merchants. After nine months, I moved to the Cost Platform team, building services to estimate and reconcile costs associated with financial transactions.
After nearly three years at Stripe, I returned to Microsoft as a Principal Software Engineer.
