My name is Tayo Ososanya. I am a Data Enthusiast, GCP certified Machine Learning Engineer and Lead Data Scientist at NBrown Group, United Kingdom. I have faced similar struggles more than once throughout my corporate career having immigrated from West Africa to the United Kingdom in 2018. I have learnt a lot and made mistakes which I hope I can help you avoid.
I am passionate about leveraging technology to solve human problems and to advance social good. I have many years of experience in hiring for analytics and data science teams, and extensive programming and statistical knowledge in my own capacity as a data scientist.
I also believe strongly in interdisciplinary collaboration and learning, which is something I try to foster in my team. I personally have an interdisciplinary background - receiving my undergraduate training in Human Nutrition and Dietetics, and Data Science for my postgraduate studies.
I started my career as a Web Analyst in the media industry. Upon moving to the United Kingdom, within 3 years of being a Data Scientist, I became a Lead Data Scientist. I have learned things the hard way by experimenting, falling, getting up and going again.
I enjoy supporting individuals who are looking to break into analytics and data science, regardless of their background! In my sessions, I will bring the resources and best practices I've personally used during my career and tailor them to your specific needs.
