1-on-1 for an Hour with Dylan

Dylan was great at teaching me the SOLID principles and getting me proficient in Angular.

I was having trouble simply getting into interviews, my resume wasn’t strong enough and I was getting rejected a lot. Dylan did a great job showing me where I could improve my resume, github, lm and LinkedIn it really made a difference, I was getting much better response rate after that. He also gave me important feedback on how I should spent my time to prep which I was doing wrong before going to him. And now I achieved my goal for now which is get a job, and Dylan also gave me tips on how to advance in my career, I’m glad Dylan was around he was very much worth it.

I am grateful for the mentorship I received from Dylan. After 5 months of port-graduation struggle in the job market, I felt like lost ship at sea. Dylan guided me through his expertise and kindness. I am just over a month of working together, his guidance led me to gain essential skills, hands-on experience and most importantly, confidence. Dylan’s encouragement and source of constructive feedback pushed me to grow with every step. Recently, I got an interview opportunity which I see as a milestone reached with his support. Dylan’s willingness to listen to my fears and concerns created a safe space for me to seek guidance. I recommend Dylan as a mentor to anyone looking for the right direction to enhance their skills and pursue their dream job.

Dylan provided great advices on improving my Github, LinkedIn and resume. However, I expected mentorship to be more practical but I felt the mentorship was more hands off and just offered suggestions on varying resources. Also had couple issues with starting our one on ones on time. All in all, Dylan was really responsive.
