Career Strategy with Matthew

Matthew was incredible. He went above and beyond my expectations for the session. He kept our session outcome-focused, while still creating a friendly and open environment. I went into our session with tons of questions and uncertainty regarding my career and left not only with all of them resolved but also with a well-detailed and documented plan to reference as I move forward. Matthew is experienced, friendly, personable, and most importantly relatable. I have no doubts that he will be able to help guide and mentor any developer or engineering manager, regardless of experience, along their career journey.

Coming from a non-traditional background I needed to speak with someone who could help me understand the path ahead of me, manage my expectations and revamp my resume. I had the opportunity to meet with Matt twice and I got way more than I was expecting out of both of our sessions. Matt not only gave me great advice, but he also gave me direction. He gave me guidance on how to improve my resume, what to expect going forward and advice on getting myself prepared to enter the job market. I cannot express my gratitude enough for Matt's time and insight. I will absolutely be scheduling more time with Matt as I progress forward and would recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced mentor whether they are just entering the job market or looking to level up.
