Whether you are aiming for a promotion, preparing for a bigger role, or feeling stuck in your current position, this session helps you turn broad ambition into a practical career strategy.

You’ll work with an experienced mentor to define your next step, identify the skills and signals that matter, and create a plan for making progress inside your current company or beyond it. Together, you can assess your strengths, spot gaps, map out promotion criteria, and think through how to build visibility, ownership, and momentum over time. The goal is to leave with more clarity, better direction, and a concrete plan to move your career forward with intention.

Charting out a path in tech is tough, and by avoiding common mistakes and learning from others, you can accelerate moving up in your career, going for a promotion etc. We will together come up with a Google doc that will outline the changes you have to make and how to get there.

I am a senior software engineer and architect with over 8 years of experience building platform/apis/data infrastructure and a love for teaching. I have also interviewed close to a 100 people for software engineering roles.
