One of my top priorities as a people manager is to grow my team. So everyone on my team has monthly career sessions with me as soon as they join and we talk through where they're at, where they want to be and set milestones on how to get there.
This session can be used in any way that makes sense to you to offer quick guidance and coaching when you're stuck, or can be treated as an intro session to more long term mentoring for your career in product management as well.
