Having a good resume on hand when going on the job hunt is crucial, and will make your search a lot easier. Even if you're not looking for a new position right now, having an up-to-date CV that sells your experience to future potential employers is always good to have.
In this session, a mentor with hiring experience will go over your CV and give you actionable points on how to improve it. You will be able to follow along and make these changes right away, hopefully leaving you with a top-notch CV at the end of the sessions.
Hi there!
I'm Martina, a Principal Product Designer with over 15 years of experience in the field and extensive experience in hiring and reviewing CVs. In my current role, I regularly review resumes and portfolios to identify top talent and ensure candidates are a good fit for various roles. My background in leading design teams and working closely with HR departments has given me a keen eye for what makes a standout resume.
In this session, we'll go through your resume together, and I'll provide actionable feedback to help you improve it. We'll focus on ensuring that the formatting is clear, all necessary sections are included, and that you're effectively highlighting your skills and experiences. We'll also discuss ways to demonstrate job readiness and enhance the confidence of hiring managers through your resume.
