Having a good resume on hand when going on the job hunt is crucial, and will make your search a lot easier. Even if you're not looking for a new position right now, having an up-to-date CV that sells your experience to future potential employers is always good to have.
In this session, a mentor with hiring experience will go over your CV and give you actionable points on how to improve it. You will be able to follow along and make these changes right away, hopefully leaving you with a top-notch CV at the end of the sessions.
Hi! I’m a Principal Applied Scientist with 9.5+ years of experience across Amazon, Microsoft, Cisco, and Oracle. I currently lead a team of 18 scientists and engineers, and over my career, I’ve regularly been involved in hiring, screening, and interviewing candidates for ML, AI, and software engineering positions. This has given me firsthand insight into what hiring managers and recruiters actually look for when reviewing CVs.
In this session, I’ll review your resume beforehand (please send it at least 24 hours before the call), and during our 30 minutes together I’ll provide actionable, detailed feedback on structure, content, and positioning so your resume highlights your strengths and increases your chances of getting interviews.
I typically conduct these sessions in weekday evenings (US ET) and weekends, but I stay flexible for international mentees.
