Interview preparation is about showing up with clarity, confidence, and a strong sense of how to present your experience. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you prepare for upcoming interviews in a practical, personalized way, whether you are early in your career, making a transition, or aiming for a more competitive role.

You’ll work with an experienced mentor to sharpen your story, improve your answers, and get ready for the questions that matter most. Together, you can practice mock interviews, refine how you talk about your background, prepare for technical or behavioral rounds, and identify the areas that need the most work. The goal is to help you walk into the interview feeling more prepared, more polished, and more confident in your ability to stand out.

As a current hiring manager for Modern Health, I'm always working closely with the recruiting team to finalize and refine the design recruitment process. I help the team make decisions strategically about who to hire, why we should hire them, and why we should pass on a candidate. I have interviewed hundreds of product designers, marketing designers, head of design, and design managers in multiple roles and contributed towards many recruitment process within design.

I review and analyze reviews with recruiters to understand and measure design recruitment criteria. I also help to make key decisions around my design organization needs to understand why we move forward with certain candidates based on their resume, portfolios, 1:1 sessions and presentations.

When you book me for a session to review your CV, I can offer feedback on the content of your CV, how it relates to the roles you're applying for, even offer feedback on whether your resume is a good fit based on where you're applying to. I can also offer tips on specifically different types of questions you'd be asked in interviews and what types of answers your interviewers are looking for.
