Interview preparation is about showing up with clarity, confidence, and a strong sense of how to present your experience. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you prepare for upcoming interviews in a practical, personalized way, whether you are early in your career, making a transition, or aiming for a more competitive role.

You’ll work with an experienced mentor to sharpen your story, improve your answers, and get ready for the questions that matter most. Together, you can practice mock interviews, refine how you talk about your background, prepare for technical or behavioral rounds, and identify the areas that need the most work. The goal is to help you walk into the interview feeling more prepared, more polished, and more confident in your ability to stand out.

With over 6 years in AI/ML engineering and leadership and experience as a former CTO who hired and interviewed across engineering, data, and product teams, I run realistic mock interviews that mirror what companies actually do. I’ve screened, shortlisted, and led interviews for roles from IC engineers to engineering managers and have hands-on experience evaluating technical depth, system design, and soft skills. In a 60-minute Mock Interview session. I’ll act as a technical interviewer, run a structured interview (~40 minutes), then give focused, actionable feedback (~20 minutes) to help you improve fast.

A realistic interview flow (warm-up, technical challenge or system design, behavioral questions).

Assessment of technical competence, problem-solving approach, and communication.

Identification of obvious knowledge gaps, communication issues, and behaviors that might hurt interview performance.

Concrete, prioritized feedback and an action plan you can use to improve before your next interview.

A concise feedback summary with strengths, weaknesses, and a prioritized action plan.

Specific examples of improvements (phrasing, code style, design tradeoffs) and 3–5 targeted practice tasks.

Suggested resources and a recommended timeline to close gaps.
