Interview preparation is about showing up with clarity, confidence, and a strong sense of how to present your experience. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you prepare for upcoming interviews in a practical, personalized way, whether you are early in your career, making a transition, or aiming for a more competitive role.

You’ll work with an experienced mentor to sharpen your story, improve your answers, and get ready for the questions that matter most. Together, you can practice mock interviews, refine how you talk about your background, prepare for technical or behavioral rounds, and identify the areas that need the most work. The goal is to help you walk into the interview feeling more prepared, more polished, and more confident in your ability to stand out.

I've been the hiring manager for Product Managers at two San Francisco startups over the last 6 years, and I've conducted hundreds of interviews. I've also trained product managers and engineering managers on how to run interviews and hiring processes.

In my 1-hour interview prep session, for the first 40 minutes I pretend to be a hiring manager and conduct a mock interview, focusing on behavioral questions common in tech interviews. Then, I'll spend the last 20 minutes giving you feedback/suggestions and answering any questions you have. However, if you prefer to use our session time differently (e.g. skip the mock interview and dive into Q&A), please let me know.
