Introductory Call with

If you're looking for a mentor, and you're just not sure about how this all works – this should be for you. In a casual, informal introductory call, a mentor will introduce themselves, show you around the platform, explain how our mentorships work and explain how they would set up a mentorship with you.

This session is perfect if you're looking for a longterm mentor, but you're just not sure how this can work – or if you already set eyes on a specific mentor, and want to get to know them beforehand.

I'm a Principal Research Scientist at Motorola Solutions, where I work on cutting-edge deep learning/computer vision algorithms for the security industry. I have 7+ years of industry experience, also having worked at Amazon and IBM Research.

I can help with any of the following:

* Guidance toward learning and acquiring specific skills, whether it be theoretical foundations of machine learning or something practical like Python/TensorFlow.
* Job applications and interview preparation in machine learning or software more broadly.
* Organising and guiding efforts towards building machine learning/computer vision projects or software projects in general.
