About this Session

If you're looking for a mentor, and you're just not sure about how this all works – this one is for you. In a casual, informal introductory call, a mentor will introduce themselves, show you around the platform, explain how our mentorships work, and explain how they would set up a mentorship with you.

This session is perfect if you're looking for a long-term mentor, but you're just not sure how this can work – or if you already set eyes on a specific mentor, and want to get to know them beforehand.

Having led in product and engineering in silicon valley for a decade, I'm very experienced with mentoring and providing the necessary nudges to guide you to success. Usually this looks like us bouncing ideas back and forth, you asking questions about how to proceed or be more efficient, and spontaneous offline chats by text as well.

The mentorship was awesome. Jerry was super professional. My level of understanding was not easy as I’d just landed in the data science paradigm. But without any judgment, he gave me clear insights that help me to go further on specific tasks. Even if we hadn’t included in our basic requirements, Jerry had not hesitated to correct my Python’s code. In every aspect of our exchanges, I could felt the experiences he had from the Silicon Valley. I feel so blessed ! And for another project, I’ll come back again to Jerry with no hesitation.
