Introductory Call with Chris

My mentorship with Chris was one of the best things I did this year. Not only did he give very helpful, practical, and precise advice as I improved my graphic design portfolio during a career shift, but he was very kind and supportive, helping me return to a healthy mindset at a time when I was feeling discouraged. I have a tendency to plan way ahead, overthink, and get overwhelmed by my own goals, but he navigated me through organizing those goals into more manageable, actionable, bite-sized chunks. I'm very grateful for the time I spent working with him!

Chris is what you dream a mentor should be. He's critical but empathetic, provides constructive feedback but always open to hearing your opinion; He's encouraging without being pushy. Moreover, Chris has helped me become a better designer and I'm so grateful for the work we have done together. You can tell Chris is so dedicated to helping others and I really appreciate all the valuable feedback he has given me. You won't regret working with Chris.

Chris was patient and supportive, providing me with valuable insights and resources to improve my skills in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. He helped me to develop my skills in typography, layout design, and color theory, and provided constructive feedback on my designs. Chris was always available to answer my questions and provided me with advice on freelancing, including how to start, pricing strategies, and project management.

It was a pleasure working with Chris. He has a breadth of expertise that provided me with knowledge in multiple Adobe apps, lighting and videography aesthetics and much more. What truly set Chris apart was his ability to act as a guide in goal ideation and challenge you to broaden the scope of your goals. As a young graphic designer fresh out of college, I was feeling lost and unsure of how to take my skills to the next level. My mentoring experience with Chris was fantastic. He provided me with the support and guidance I needed to build a strong portfolio and develop my design skills.
