I'm an early-mid career data scientist and am looking to take my career to the next level, so I booked a DS career transition session with Ian. Ian took the time to provide thoughtful insights and suggestions to help gear my career planning in the right direction. He helped me consider various options to upskilling myself including detailed review of several online Master programs. We also discussed about data project ideas and 2 approaches to decide on a project topics. He provided me with a framework on how to gain clarity on my long-term career goal. My goal of the mentorship was to get a head start in the transition from Data Analytics to Data Science. From Ian, I got that and more! Ian helped me create a customized curriculum with books and online courses based on my current knowledge, and also assisted me in defining and starting my Machine Learning project, which I had been struggling with. Finally, after multiple months of mentoring, I decided to apply for an online Data Science Master's program at one of the prestigious US universities, where I got accepted thanks to Ian's guidance and support. I cannot recommend Ian enough!
