Throughout my journey in 3D Environment for Games, I had the privilege of being mentored by Robert, and I can confidently say that this experience has been a game-changer for my growth in the field. From the very beginning, it was clear that Robert possesses an extensive technical knowledge and an exceptional teaching approach. He not only masters essential software such as Blender, Maya, Unreal Engine, and Substance Painter, but he also has a keen artistic eye, making his guidance incredibly valuable. Mentorship with Robert was a great experience to gain insight into how the proper industry workflow looks like. He helped me to breakthrough my anxiety associated with learning unreal after bashing my head against it for a month. We were able to slow down, break things down, I gained a much better understanding of the proper workflow and what it takes to get a game from an idea to the end product.

Super packed hour of going through my existing work, receiving feedback on code improvements, tips for publishing to online marketplaces, and more general discussions around future careers, interviews and showreel advice. Very friendly but also professional and critical allowing me to get a tremendous amount out of the session.

Robert is an excellent mentor! Kicking off the mentorship with a very detailed welcome package and building a mission map to analyze my goals in our very first call helped fast track my growth tremendously. He is very meticulous in his work, was always more than prepared for any meeting and was able to help me with any questions I had along the way. He was always punctual and our communication both in meetings and through email couldn't have been any better. Additionally, he would provide me with written notes and feedback after every session which helped even more to understand and analyzes my goals and the tasks ahead to get there.
