The mentor may offer tips and best practices for creating a compelling and effective pitch deck, including advice on how to tailor the presentation to the intended audience and how to use visuals and storytelling techniques to engage and persuade the audience

By the end of the session, you should have a better understanding of how to create a compelling and effective pitch deck, as well as a plan for implementing the feedback and guidance provided by the mentor.

As an angel investor and product leader, I get a lot of outreach by startup founders pitching their ideas so have have seen my fair share of pitch decks. I have a framework that I've been iterating over the past few years in what I personally look for and have improved upon it over time and exposure working with larger VCs. I'll be able to help share specific areas of feedback on how you can improve your pitch and your deck.

Andy conducted a pitch deck review for me. He held back neither compliments nor criticism, delivering thorough, clear and actionable feedback. Andy has deep technical, product management, and leadership skills and it showed in his review. His knowledge of the VC and angel investor space, coupled with experience as a startup founder, really came through in the authenticity and credibility of his comments. If you are in the early stages of starting a start up, you have to speak to Andy. Before I met Andy, I truly had no idea what I was doing. Andy was able to provide incredible guidance by simplifying processes and outlining potential next steps in a way that is easy to follow. He also asks all the right questions. By asking the right questions, Andy sparks creativity and opens my mind to things I hadn't thought of. He is genuine and transparent in his approach and it is clear that he wants the best for his mentees. He covers all bases and provides selfless advice and insight, even on soft-skills outside the specific scope of the session! An amazing mentor and and even more amazing person!
