Having a good portfolio on hand is key for any designer in the job market. Even if you're not looking for a new position right now, having an impressive portfolio that presenty your experience to future potential employers is always good to have.
In this session, a mentor with design and hiring experience will go over your portfolio and give you actionable points on how to improve it. You will be able to follow along and make these changes right away, hopefully leaving you with a top-notch portfolio at the end of the sessions.
A clean, legible, pixel-perfect portfolio will almost guarantee you a job offer once you get past the screening phase of an application. Without a strong portfolio, how will anyone trust that you're a good designer? During this session, we will go through a review of your portfolio and identify areas where you could improve the presentation of your work.
