Portfolio Feedback with Juliette

I’ve had the pleasure of receiving mentorship from Juliette for the past year, and I look forward to picking back up again! When I came across Juliette’s profile, I had just wrapped up a previous mentorship where we met once a week and, due to my schedule, had chosen to take a break with no intention of starting a new mentorship anytime soon. That was until I saw Juliette’s profile and option for asynchronous mentorship! Over the next months, Juliette consistently brought undivided presence and attention to our interactions, remembering little and big details as time went on. She’d leave thoughtful feedback, valuable insights, and thought-provoking/clarifying follow-up questions. I always looked forward to reading her notes and was left feeling more equipped to tackle my next action items. Beyond all of her expertise, other qualities you’ll soon notice in Juliette are her kindness, attention to detail, empathy, reliability, and humility. It’s hard to believe we never met synchronously! She really is an empowering Product Design Leader, and I’m grateful for the time and effort she generously poured into our mentorship. Feels like a superpower to have her in your corner!

Juliette has been my mentor for six months now, and I couldn't have picked a better mentor! I decided to get a mentor when I was job hunting and struggling with interviews. With lots of layoffs happening, I knew the job market wasn't great, but I also wanted to boost my chances of landing a job. I ended up taking a job in a company, working in operations, and saw a chance to shift into a Product Design role since the company didn't have anyone doing that. Juliette helped me pitch the idea to the C-suite, and now I'm focusing on what I love. I'm still in the middle of transitioning, and Juliette is helping me work towards a title and salary change. I couldn't be more thankful for her. She's talented, flexible, there for her mentees, and she really inspires you to go after your goals.

Juliette was a great mentor. I had a layoff the end of last year and was struggling with where to go next in my career. I reached out to her with my doubts and feelings about the industry and why I was seeing a mentor. She gave me sound feedback on my case studies and offered to create deadlines that we could work toward. I highly recommend!
