This MentorCruise session is designed to help you improve how your work is presented, whether you are applying for jobs, pitching clients, or building credibility in your field. If your portfolio feels scattered, outdated, or not quite convincing enough, this session gives you practical feedback on how to strengthen it.

You’ll work with an experienced mentor to review your portfolio through the eyes of a hiring manager, client, or industry peer. Together, you can assess the quality of your project selection, case studies, storytelling, structure, and presentation, and identify what is missing or not landing. The goal is to leave with clearer direction on how to make your portfolio more focused, more compelling, and more effective at creating opportunities.

I'm a Lead UX/Product Designer with over 17 years of experience. Based in London, I have developed my design career in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, gaining extensive exposure across diverse industries. Throughout my journey, I have established and managed design teams, including the evaluation and the hiring process for designers. I have also served as a mentor for 7 years at DesignLab, Springboard, and Mentorcruise, conducting numerous portfolio reviews to help designers prepare for the next step in their careers. In this session, we will assess your portfolio and case studies, focusing on format and presentation quality. Following the evaluation, I will offer actionable feedback to enhance areas needing improvement.
