Having a good portfolio on hand is key for any designer in the job market. Even if you're not looking for a new position right now, having an impressive portfolio that presenty your experience to future potential employers is always good to have.
In this session, a mentor with design and hiring experience will go over your portfolio and give you actionable points on how to improve it. You will be able to follow along and make these changes right away, hopefully leaving you with a top-notch portfolio at the end of the sessions.
As the Lead of the Design Department and a hiring manager, I have extensive experience in recruiting various professionals, ranging from UX/UI designers to UX researchers, testers, and writers of varying career levels and specializations.
I have a comprehensive understanding of diverse hiring procedures and expectations. I can provide constructive feedback and recommendations on crafting an effective Portfolio and successfully navigating the initial screening by HR and hiring managers.
