Looking to learn a new skill? The vast amount of resources on any topic on the internet can feel overwhelming at times. A mentor can give you an overview of worthwhile content, and work with you to create a study plan.

For this session, it is a good idea to know what you're looking to study, how deep you want to go, and when you want to reach that goal. Based on that, a mentor will come up with a detailed study plan.

Gourav is a Senior Data Science Manager and currently working with User Experience team at Apple Inc. He has also contributed to Relevance Engineering and Applied Research team at Groupon Inc. and has more than 8 years of experience in user personalization, understanding customer behavior, analytics and data mining. He comes with strong analytical, data modeling and programming skills, and has ability to mine hidden gems located within large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. Currently, he is working on improving user experience that reduces friction and improves engagement.
