From the beginning, he took the time to understand where I was in my search and identify which areas needed the most attention. One of his first recommendations was to build a story bank, which helped me significantly improve my storytelling and become much more intentional about how I communicate my experience during interviews. He also helped me shift my mindset from relying primarily on cold applications to taking a much more proactive and strategic approach. He guided me on how to reach out to people, demonstrate genuine interest in companies, explore where former colleagues and connections had moved throughout their careers, and identify relationships that could lead to referrals. This gave me a much more structured way to leverage my network and increase my chances of getting into the right hiring processes. His advice went beyond simply finding opportunities. Our conversations about salary bands, how compensation can vary depending on seniority and location, what to expect from an offer, and how to approach negotiation were also extremely valuable. What stood out most, however, was how thoughtful and genuinely invested Tadas was throughout the process. I had a big market thesis for my compliance startup but no way to test whether anyone would actually buy it, and I was tempted to start running quick ad experiments just to see some revenue. But he reframed the whole problem. He explained why that kind of testing fits consumer products and not an enterprise one. My product was b2b and he suggested I needed to focus on getting high-intent signals from enterprises, like conversations with recognizable companies, then letters of intent, then a free pilot, a paid pilot, and finally a signed contract. He was also super candid about how investors think. I won't give away all his secrets, but he gave me some ideas on how to talk to investors and what signals they give so you can better judge how interested they are (beyond the polite niceties that happen on these calls). He was direct without being discouraging and it lefts me very clear-eyed about what to do next. I definitely recommend him to first-time founders or founders who are stuck.” Read more Show less
