Interview preparation is about showing up with clarity, confidence, and a strong sense of how to present your experience. This MentorCruise session is designed to help you prepare for upcoming interviews in a practical, personalized way, whether you are early in your career, making a transition, or aiming for a more competitive role.

You’ll work with an experienced mentor to sharpen your story, improve your answers, and get ready for the questions that matter most. Together, you can practice mock interviews, refine how you talk about your background, prepare for technical or behavioral rounds, and identify the areas that need the most work. The goal is to help you walk into the interview feeling more prepared, more polished, and more confident in your ability to stand out.

Your mentor

This is the real thing, before the real thing. I'll interview you as if I were on the panel for the role you're targeting, using the questions and format that company is likely to run, whether that's product sense, execution, strategy, behavioural, or a case. Then I stop and give you honest feedback while it's fresh: where your story landed, where you lost me, what to say instead.

I recently sat these interviews myself at 8 companies including HubSpot, Deel, ZOE, and GitHub, so I know how they actually run and what a strong answer sounds like in the room. Before that I spent about 12 years in product: a founding PM, a founder who built and sold Prodsight to Playvox in 2022, then a product director at Playvox, and most recently a senior PM at GitHub. I've hired across engineering, design, marketing, and sales, and I mentor product managers on ADPList and one-to-one inside GitHub and on my own team.

You'll leave knowing where you actually stand and exactly what to work on next. I run these sessions on weekday evenings and weekends, UK time.
