In this session, a mentor will sit down with you, and give you some inputs to make your work better, be it a code review, inputs on your design, or some inspiration for your project.
This is not a hands-on session! The mentor will not touch code or design your work for you. For something closer to that, book a consultation!
As an Apple Design Award winning product manager and engineer for iOS, I know how important user experience is. If you have a working POC, I'll take some time to understand the problem you are solving and try it out first hand. Happy to send you a One Pager on what I think works, doesn't work and some suggestions. if this is something I can relate to, happy to even intro to some folks who can help you make this better.
Today, I lead a team of 20 in the Flurry backend team. I do code reviews every day. One key way to get better at coding is to read a lot of code. Github is a great place to start. For any code review, I'll expect to download the code, compile and run it for before and after to see if the behavior is the same. If the code changes are architectural, would prefer to have a call to understand the current setup and get a sense of the new approach. After this, happy to comment on the PR if one exists or in any other way.
