Why did you decide to become a mentor?
Becoming a mentor felt like a natural step in my journey. Over the years, I’ve built and sold multiple businesses, and I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate the entrepreneurial world alone. Mentorship has allowed me to share my knowledge and help others avoid the mistakes I made early on. The biggest reward is seeing my mentees succeed—whether it’s a coach launching a new program, a consultant doubling their revenue, or a business owner gaining the confidence to go after big opportunities. Mentorship also allows me to give back to a community that has given me so much. There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing someone take the tools and strategies I share and use them to transform their business and their life.
How did you get your career start?
My entrepreneurial journey began in my early 20s when I started my first business—a small e-commerce store. I had no formal training, no mentors, and no idea what I was doing. Through trial, error, and a lot of persistence, I learned the ropes of marketing, sales, and business management. Over the years, I’ve built businesses across various niches, from retail to consulting. Along the way, I’ve had incredible mentors who taught me the importance of systems, strategy, and resilience. Those experiences shaped my approach to mentorship today—I’m passionate about providing the support and guidance I wish I had when I started.
What do mentees usually come to you for?
Mentees often seek my help when they’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed by the demands of running a business. They come to me for clarity on how to attract clients, create effective marketing strategies, and streamline their operations. My mentorships are highly personalized. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice. I take the time to understand each mentee’s goals and challenges, then walk them through actionable steps to achieve results. Whether it’s setting up a lead generation funnel, crafting compelling messaging, or overcoming imposter syndrome, my focus is on providing both the strategy and the hands-on support they need to succeed.
What's been your favourite mentorship success story so far?
One of my favorite mentorship stories is about a client named Ana, a coach who felt completely overwhelmed trying to grow her business. When we started, she was working long hours with minimal results, unsure of how to scale. Within six months of working together, we streamlined her services, implemented an automated lead generation system, and launched a group program that generated $25,000 in its first month. Not only did her income grow, but she also cut her working hours in half, giving her more time for her family and herself. Seeing Sarah transform from stressed and uncertain to confident and thriving was incredibly rewarding.
What are you getting out of being a mentor?
Mentorship has been one of the most fulfilling aspects of my career. It’s deepened my leadership skills, sharpened my communication, and given me a renewed appreciation for the journey I’ve been on. Every mentee teaches me something new, and their wins remind me why I started this path in the first place. It’s not just about sharing knowledge—it’s about building relationships, empowering others, and watching their growth ripple outward. Mentorship has also strengthened my business by keeping me connected to the challenges entrepreneurs face today, ensuring my strategies stay relevant and impactful. Helping others succeed is more than a career for me—it’s my passion and purpose.
