About

I am an Adjunct Professor at my local university where I graduated from in 2015. I also am at the end of a 5-year Ph.D. program focused on the study of functional programming languages.

As an undergraduate student, I began to develop a love for helping others to understand new things. It not only helps me to understand better the subject at hand but also the teaching act itself is an extremely satisfying process. I began as a teacher assistant, where I help students on the practical matters of subjects as Data Structures and Algorithms, Introduction to Functional Programming, Compilers Theory, Type Theory, and Lambda Calculus.

After graduation, I began my Ph.D. but continuously dedicating part of my time to teach. As the years passed I became Professor and today I am teaching a practical course on Parallel and Concurrent Programming with C and Erlang.

I am very dedicated and realist. I am not going to promise something that I cannot deliver and take sessions and punctuality very seriously. I won't follow you around but I will check on my students to see how they are doing.

My first language is Spanish and English my second. Henceforth, there is going to be an accent.
