About

I am a product leader and data analytics subject matter expert with 15+ years of experience helping companies like Chartmetric, Meta, Netflix, Wayfair, and WeWork build world-class products, analytics capabilities, and high-performing teams. I’m currently Chief Product Officer at Chartmetric, a B2B music analytics company, where I lead product strategy and help teams turn complex data into clear, useful decisions.

My experience sits at the intersection of product strategy, data-driven decision-making, and career transition. I’ve worked across big tech, startups, consulting, and B2B SaaS. Along the way, I’ve moved from analytics and consulting into product, gone from IC to team leader, completed my MBA at Kellogg, moved countries, built teams from scratch, and navigated plenty of moments where I felt stuck, uncertain, or off-track.

You might be mid-career and something feels off. Maybe you’re good at your job, but underused. Maybe you want to move into product, but your background doesn’t fit the “perfect PM” mold. Maybe you’re stepping into management and realizing being great at the work is very different from leading the work. Maybe you’re deciding between an MBA, a startup role, a bigger company, or simply trying to figure out what is actually blocking your next move.

That’s exactly the kind of career problem I help with.

I’m here for:
* Mid-career professionals who feel stuck, underused, or unclear on what comes next
* People trying to break into product from analytics, consulting, operations, or another field
* ICs moving into management and learning how to lead without losing their edge
* PMs trying to build influence, drive change, and lead through messy ambiguity
* Professionals deciding whether an MBA is worth it for their career in tech
* People choosing between big company stability and the speed of startup life

What we can work on:
- Getting unstuck and clarifying what to do next
- Breaking into product, leadership, or a new career path
- Crafting your story and positioning so your value is clear
- Driving change in complex organizations without burning bridges

My mentorship style is direct, practical, and honest. I won’t give you generic career advice you can find online. You bring the situation, goal, leadership problem, product challenge, career decision, or obstacle you’re stuck on. I’ll help you break it down, identify what matters, and give you clear next steps.

Why am I doing this?
Because I wish I had mentors earlier in my career who told me how things really work. Not cookie-cutter advice that sounds good on paper, but honest guidance on corporate America, career moves, getting unstuck, and navigating systems that often pigeonhole people too early.

I can’t change your circumstances overnight, but I can help you see the path more clearly and increase the odds that your next move is the right one.

If you’re ready to get unstuck and take your career more seriously, book a session and let’s talk.

5 out of 5 stars

Akash did an excellent job helping me prepare for my next role by conducting a mock interview with me. It was just the advice I needed. He did an amazing job of preparing, conducting a great interview, and then giving me feedback that was encouraging but also pointed out the areas I needed to improve. Thanks Akash!
