Hi! I'm Daniel and I most recently worked as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at DigitalOcean on the databases-as-a-service team. I previously worked there as a senior software engineer. I've been on a software engineering journey the past 10 years when I decided to switch from business into engineering. It wasn't easy but it's been very rewarding and I'm looking to pay it forward by helping others on their career journeys!
My prior experience includes observability at Splunk and MLOps at Microsoft.
I studied business for my first undergrad degree but realized shortly into my career that I had a passion for software and went back to get a second degree in CS. Since then, I've been interested in the intersection between business and engineering. Education and teaching are also passions of mine and I enjoy writing about technical topics for people new to the industry.
5 out of 5 stars
I had a greatly productive resume review session with Daniel, he highlighted the strengths of my resume and provided actionable feedback for things that could be improved. He knows what he is talking about and I feel much more confident about my resume after having met with him. He offered advice beyond my resume and on my general job and interview strategies overall as well. I highly recommend Daniel to anyone who is looking for mentorship!
