David Barker

I am experienced in leading UX and research activities across product-led organisations, with experience at all stages of the product lifecycle from problem exploration to solution design and validation. I have established UX as a discipline within several product organisations, growing the function and embedding UX processes and user-centred design across multiple product teams.

I have over 15 years of experience working with both agencies and in-house teams. For the last 5 years, I have been working with several SaaS start-ups and incubators, delivering Research and Product operations. Previously, I spent 7 years working with agencies delivering user-centered digital projects. In addition to this, in 2017, I established my own UX consultancy that enabled me to focus my skillset in the digital transformation space.

As an experienced coach and mentor, I have provided guidance and support to Product Designers and Product Managers, as well as individuals starting their careers in UX.
