I'm Fionnán, a positive motivator who uses Design Thinking to shape Career Journeys through collaboration, empathy, prototyping and planning.
Leveraging my experience in corporate and mid-sized consulting practices, I've honed my own consultative powers to encourage teams and individuals to work more effectively and passionately in order to achieve goals.
I hold a PGDip in Innovation through Design Thinking and develop entry level, mid-career & PhD/Post Doc candidates through to their bespoke career aspirations.
I am also a Certified Practitioner in the Herrmann Global Whole Brain® methodology and use this training to explore whole brain methods of approaching career mapping.
I love team sports, having played hurling (traditional Irish field sport involving a wooden stick and ball) growing up and now like to run marathon and half marathon distances.
My own career change journey has inspired me to help others make sense of their own career stories.
I help advise Entry Level & Mid-Management level candidates in career awareness and career mapping as well as PhD/Post Doc students who are looking to navigate the commercial world.
I am a guest lecturer for Irelands only dedicated program that helps PhD/Post Doc students to become aware of commercial opportunities open to them, held in partnership with University College Cork (Ireland) called the Odyssey Program
