Hey there! 👋 I am Jennifer! I am a research and design lead in San Francisco.
I was a design researcher and designer at Instagram, Fitbit, Mayo Clinic, design consultancies, and health/wellness companies. My expertise is primarily in behavior change and social relationships. I am currently on a personal sabbatical while consulting a bit on the side. While at those roles, I sought to champion equity while shaping language, leading product research in equity, and internally founding an API circle for employees to discuss identity and connect with each other.
With over ten years of experience in user experience design and research ranging from design studios to startups to academia, I aim to design for better user experiences. My specialities range from ubiquitous computing to service design to cross-platform design. I have worked with interdisciplinary teams and interfaced with clients. I work best with deep collaboration of the team. In the product cycle, I work best in the early conceptual stage. I love stickies and sharpies.
