I serve as Strategy & Venture Lead at Nibiru Chain, an early-stage Layer 1 blockchain in the Solana/Avalanche cohort, where I advise DeFi teams on front-end design, narrative development, pitch decks and fundraising—essentially operating as an in-house accelerator or corporate venture arm. Before joining Nibiru, I spent three years in crypto venture and growth equity at GIC’s San Francisco office, and began my career in investment banking at J.P. Morgan’s Media & Communications group and in equity research at Credit Suisse.
Incoming students considering capital markets, investment banking or alternative tracks benefit most from big-picture career planning: how to identify roles that fit their strengths, map out skill-building pathways and plot thoughtful long-term pivots between operator and investor positions. I typically reserve detailed resume reviews for standout candidates—general advice on bullet-writing and formatting is readily available through AI tools and other resources—so I prefer to focus our time on strategy, goal-setting and the nuances of career progression.
Aspiring founders can tap into my experience advising early-stage projects for candid feedback on business ideas, go-to-market plans and fundraising strategy. While I’m not keen on drilling technical interview questions, I’m glad to demystify basic crypto primitives and ecosystem building—so long as we keep it at a conceptual level.
