One of our mentors could be the outside view you need. They understand the challenges that come with a career change, and are happy to help you come up with a solid strategy on how to reach your goals.

I've had such a squiggly career myself! Kinda fell into stuff... Moved across different jobs, industries and companies... I had no idea a career in tech was something I could aim for during school (particularly not being technical) and I didn't focus on it at University either. Product Marketing was something I was drawn to once I started working in marketing due to its variety, but I had to make it happen for myself. For this reason, I love to help make it happen for others aspiring to become a PMM or those who feel they have outgrown their current PMM role by designing a career strategy together. I highly recommend at least 6 sessions over 6 months to make this effective, but I am also open to these 1 off conversations via MentorCruise. To sum up, I had a very non-traditional route to becoming a Senior Lead at Microsoft which makes me best equipped to help those trying to navigate their way from start-up to corporate or the other way around.

Hope's deep experience as a PMM at both start-ups and large corporates, combined with her international experience, and encouraging coaching style makes her an outstanding PMM coach. I've personally benefited from Hope's wealth of experience as she generously shared her insights around everything PMM- from key strategies to getting stakeholder buy-in, launching a campaign, and managing stakeholders- to the key communities and resources I could check out to help me grow in my own professional journey. I also appreciate Hope's holistic coaching style, not only focusing on PMM methods/ strategies, but also key development areas (such as personal branding), which can serve to amplify not only my impact but the opportunities that can come my way. Overall, I've found Hope's coaching to be a force multiplier for my PMM career!
