Resume Feedback with Dan

Dan is a rare human, and if you are debating on choosing him or not, choose him. He is straight forward in assessing both your skills and providing honest feedback that, quite frankly, most of us lack for growth. Over the course of a year, Dan helped me work through various dimensions of my budding swe career including technical upskilling (frontend), project based learning, and my own ongoing debate of climbing the ladder vs being an entrepreneur. I admire him for his own drive in his career and he really does live out his own advice.

Dan is probably one of the best mentor from whom i got to learn lots of things.He is an exceptional mentor who provides invaluable guidance, support, and encouragement, helping me grow both personally and professionally. His patience, knowledge as well as experience makes him a great mentor on whom you can rely for your growth.

Dan has been a fantastic mentor to me for several months, helping to encourage me and challenge me in all the areas that I need it. He has plenty of resources for me to use for learning and practice and he always adjusts the feedback he gives me to help me at my level. I am much more confident than when I first met him and I can't recommend him enough.

Dan has been an amazing mentor in helping me become a better programmer. The knowledge he has provided me with has been invaluable; our calls and code reviews have expanded my knowledge and revealed areas I didn't realise I needed to improve on. As an outsider of the technology industry there were many things I didn't know that I was unaware of. However, through the code reviews and Dan guiding me through what to focus on, I was able to bridge that gap. Through the various challenges set and code reviews I believe I have become a much more well-rounded developer. Also, Dan's background in recruitment was a huge asset when applying for jobs. He helped me with how to prepare properly and to not forget about the small details in order to standout more. I recently received an offer from a relatively big technology company and I don't think I would have gotten this far if it wasn't for Dan making me a better programmer and problem-solver. If you are thinking of getting a mentor and want to pursue a career in the technology industry, Dan is the person to go to.

I reached out to Dan as an alternative to a boot camp. After a friendly introductory chat, I was confident I was making an easy choice and the right one. Dan brings immense value from his time as a recruiter and more importantly, as a senior dev. I didn't need to spend thousands of dollars for video courses I could find free online. I needed someone to help get me unstuck when I ran into issues building projects and who would help push me to progress as a developer. Dan does so with just the amount of push and sensitivity. I truly feel like I have the highest quality mentor. Dan's promise, and the only one he can sensibly make, is that I will leave a better developer than when he found me.
