Expert Consultation with Chris

I went to Chris to help me land a job as a Machine Learning (Ops) Engineer. I had experience building and validating models as a data scientist but needed help breaking into Machine Learning where I would need knowledge of model deployment, monitoring and the cloud infrastructure that comes with that. My main goal was to formulate a project together with the mentor to get me learning with a real use case, while simultaneously boosting my CV, and then help me formulate the CV and cover letter and prepare for job interviews. Chris really surprised me with his knowledge. He didn't just listen to my challenges, he was also able to identify blind spots, like System Design, where I needed to learn more. He gave me feedback to think more clearly about why I would include a certain MLOps tool in a project plan. He helped me write my CV to be more impactful. Finally, he has a wealth of contacts that he referred me to, e.g. for practicing job interviews. Loved the experience!

Chris mentored me for several months on Machine Learning topics, in particular creating & managing a roadmap as well as ML project management. The mentorship was a great experience! He quickly understood my goals & needs and proposed concrete tasks for achieving them. With his help, I created new sustainable processes to manage our ML roadmap. Chris gives very valuable input and has expertise in ML project management, a deep understanding of ML algorithms & models, and knows the latest trends. I could achieve my goal and am thankful for Chris' mentoring.
