Some big interviews coming up? In this 1-hour session, a mentor with hiring experience will act as a technical interviewer and ask you some standard hiring questions that you might hear in one of your future interview too, and will evaluate your replies.

As a result of this, you should receive actionable feedback on what to improve about your knowledge, interview presence and other things that may be relevant to a future hiring decision.

During my 8 years as an engineering manager, I've conducted hundreds of interviews and hired dozens of people.

You should book this session if:

1. You are about to start looking for a new opportunity, and it's been forever since you've done interviews. Practicing in a low-stakes environment is the best way to refresh your interviewing skills.

2. You are back on the interviewing circuit and you find yourself not performing well. It is an unfortunate standard practice, but interviewees rarely receive feedback on their performance from their interviewers. We will run through a practice session (first 40 mins) and I will happily give you lots of feedback (last 20 mins) on what you did well and what your areas of improvement are.

When booking/scheduling, please make sure to include a description of what kind of job you are looking for (e.g. Full Stack Product Engineer, DevOps/SRE/Infra/Platform engineer, Engineering Manager, etc.) and what kind of interview session you are looking for - coding, whiteboard, culture fit, etc. I've done all of these before and I am confident I can help you out.
