About this Session

This session is designed to help you optimize your LinkedIn profile for professional networking and career advancement. In this session, a mentor with expertise in online branding and career development will review your existing LinkedIn profile, provide feedback and guidance, and offer best practices for improving your online presence.

Throughout the session, the mentor will work collaboratively with you to identify areas of strength and weakness in your LinkedIn profile and develop a strategy for improvement. This may include advice on how to use multimedia, such as photos and videos, to enhance the profile, as well as guidance on how to engage with other LinkedIn users through commenting, messaging, and participating in industry groups.

I'm a Lead UX/Product Designer with over 17 years of experience. Based in London, I have developed my design career in New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, gaining extensive exposure across diverse industries. Throughout my journey, I have established and managed design teams, shaping the direction of projects. Additionally, I have served as a mentor for 7 years at DesignLab, Springboard, and Mentorcruise, conducting numerous portfolio and online presence reviews. In this session, we will assess your LinkedIn profile, focusing on format and presentation quality. Following the evaluation, I will offer actionable feedback to enhance areas needing improvement.

Session cut us off suddenly, I saw peripherally the 1 min left indicator, but didn’t quite clue in until the session ended abruptly, both of us in mid sentence. Perhaps something more significant warning at the 5 minutes left mark, sometimes you’re in such focused conversation you need something to grab your attention. Other than that, it was excellent.
